Yes, we want a deserving Texas college student to win this beautiful 1998 BMW Z3 Roadster with 46,000 miles and original paint! It sounds so easy, just get 16 Texas Universities to each send two 17–25-year-old students in good academic standing to play in the Texas Collegiate One Shot Finals at Skinny Bob’s in Round Rock, TX. Of course, move the 9-ball and you get to shoot again sounds easy too! It seems Covid has caused havoc on most College Student Activity programs including Billiards.

We want to help rebuild Texas Collegiate Billiards programs first followed by U.S. Collegiate Billiards programs. If you have contact information for Athletic Directors or Student Activity Coordinators who would be interested in revitalizing their school's Billiards Program please have them contact us. Winner@TX1Shot.com It is not too late for a Spring Tournament and Skinny Bob’s has agreed, in principle, to host the tournament. Skinny Bob’s hosts the Texas 9-Ball Open and our hope is to bring the best College players to the arena that hosts the best Texas players.

But our dream is even bigger than that! We want to see Billiards become an Olympic Sport as is Ping Pong. To see a Texan competing for a Gold Medal is as big as it comes. We also support the Special Olympics of Texas and are starting a drive to see Billiards in the Special Olympics, just as Bowling is currently in the Special Olympics. We know challenged people of all ages currently play in leagues across Texas and believe the Honor of playing for Gold for these Heroes is a just cause, therefore, the Special Olympics of Texas is our Charity of choice!
